Hello & Welcome. Thank you for stopping by, I’m Jenny

A Wedding Photographer specialising in creative, emotive, documentary images with connection & character.
Based just outside Derby. Working mainly in the East Midlands & Derbyshire. I travel & shoot Weddings all over the UK. (& Iceland (well, not quite yet, but Iceland is definitely on my bucket list)!

My photographic style is relaxed & seemingly un-posed. Fine art, natural light, creative, reportage. I catch the real moments. NOT CHEESY orchestrated poses. Whilst you thoroughly enjoy everything you have worked so hard to plan. Always striving to create epic couples portraits. But most importantly images that provoke memories, (not just of how everything looked), but how you felt on that rollercoaster day. I also understand how much thought, time & effort goes into the smallest detail & make sure those too, are recorded. My aim is to provide a unique set of images for each couple that will be their lasting heirloom. Also to be a relaxed & friendly presence on the day. Hopefully leaving you with the feeling that a friend was photographing your Wedding & not just another clinical, shouty, OTT photographer.

Everything I do comes from the heart. My intention is to build a connection with each couple & their family, in the run up to your Wedding & on the day itself. A Wedding is once in a lifetime event that should be treated as such. It is also an extra specially rare day where couples & guests alike are free to express their true feelings for each other. I love driving away from each one with a happy heart.

In a past life (it feels like it) I worked on the picture desk of OK! Magazine (Mum & Dad were so proud, they still have my old business card pinned up in their kitchen)! I loved London (& all the gossip)! but craved green, open spaces & after watching too much Kirsty & Phil, we moved to a project house in Derbyshire. I became a full time Wedding photographer after the birth of my second little boy & now have a lot less of an idea about celeb news! Fast forward a few years, life is all about football, jiu jitsu, dinosaurs & superheroes. Beau & Leo are absolute dudes & whirlwinds. Being involved in Weddings is a joy but if you are planning a one involving dinosaurs & superheroes, I’m 100% in!!

I love an epic walk & getting out into the peaks for amazing views, cream teas, good pub food & cherry beer. I’m a people watcher & enjoy deciphering connections. I find pleasure in seeking extraordinariness in the everyday. Always on the look out for light, reflections & symmetry (I’m a little OCD about symmetry). I’m also a bit of a just in case hoarder… There are lots of extras in my camera bag, plasters, safety pins, hair clips, a sewing kit, fairy lights. I love a bit of clever design & have a soft spot for a stylish print & Tom Hardy ;) Most importantly I love photography & have a passion for recording memories. I understand just how fast time passes & the need & comfort in reflecting on happy times.

If you are looking for a creative photographer, who also shoots from the view of a Wife, Mum, Sister, Aunty & Friend. That can blend in with your guests, be both laid back and professional, a nerve-settler, a button doer-upper and just a voice of reason on a day when tensions are high – let’s get together for a chat & a cuppa.

There is a connection between Bride, Groom & photographer which is a unique one. I share in a couples most special & emotional time. It is an honour & I will always feel privileged to love what I do.
