Kate & Ian Married at 3pm on New Years eve 2016 in the warm welcoming light of the beautiful St. Andrews Church, Owston. The tiny village where Ian grew up (near Oakham & Melton Mowbray). The whole village was invited!
Kate & Ian wanted their Wedding to centre around the farm, initially hoping to hire a marquee & hold the celebration in the yard. In the end they decided the cows might be a bit worried by the partying & opted for the rugby club. Instead we had an epic Pre Wedding shoot on the farm (see some of pics in my couples portraits gallery here)
Best Bridesmaid award goes to Nell (the dog who was brilliantly behaved all day) & allowed full access to the church & venue!
Living on a farm also has it’s advantages when choosing Wedding transport!!
Thank you to the amazing organisational skills of the ushers for making the sparkler shot possible (getting that number all lit at the same time was no mean feat).
As it was a late afternoon Wedding it was dark when we arrived at the venue, we still made it outside for couples shots using the ambient light from building & popped out again after dinner (down a muddy side lane) for some off camera flash shots (OCF).
Here are some fav’s from the day… Thank you so much to Kate & Ian for having a truly fantastic Wedding (& I’m very glad no burns were sustained – unlike the stag 😱) xx
