This Wedding was a special one for me & had been a long time coming! The bride is my sister in law, so the day was very much all about family!
Kirsty & Paul married in the beautiful round tower church above the stunningly picturesque village of Bawburgh on one of the hottest days in July, it was ROASTING! the relaxed reception was held at Glen Lodge Bawburgh Golf Club a camper van’s ride up the road!
Everything had been organised by Kirsty & Paul themselves, so much effort had been put into the details. Kirsty is so lovely, you could see just how much the couple are loved by their group of friends who pulled out all the stops to make this the best day ever!
The flowers in church & at the reception were all arranged by the bridesmaids & Clare Kirsty’s step mum, there were so many meringues, cake pops & beautiful cakes all baked by two lovely friends, Kirsty & Paul didn’t know which to choose to cut! The reception was extra chilled, food was a huge buffet & bbq, with no table plan leaving everyone to mingle & enjoy sitting outside whilst the children played in the beautiful gardens. Kirsty organised (& painted)! a “photo bench” with props & decorated vintage ladders, in a quiet corner of the marquee, I provided the camera – fun was had! Just before the first dance Kirsty & Paul’s daughter Georgia (who is 10) gave a surprise performance with the help of her gymnastic coaches, it was amazing, many proud tears were shed by everyone watching!!
It truly was a great day, one I will remember with a happy smile & slight sunburn…
