Sutton Bonington Hall is a beautiful family home, opened for a select number of Weddings each year. Chosen by Kate & John for it’s relaxed, welcoming atmosphere as they really wanted more of a party, with the emphasis on family & festive celebrations with their 8 month old daughter Sophie.
A late 3pm ceremony & rain all day made it one one the most challenging December Weddings I’ve dealt with in terms of light. But I’m so happy with the results & really excited to have made use of the OCF kit again. The hall is such a beautiful & comfortable venue. A great place for a Winter Wedding. Everything felt so opulently festive. Those open fire’s were so perfectly Christmassy! Kate’s Mum sourced the stunning light tree’s. She also made the Christmas cake & was up all night creating the topper figures! Paul Martyn Music rocked it. The dance floor wouldn’t have been quite the same without him!
It was a real pleasure to be part of the celebrations, made all the more special being so close to Christmas. I can’t wait to see everyone again in August for Kate’s brothers Wedding.
