Derbyshire Farm Tipi Wedding Photographer

Sally and Pete’s DIY Derbyshire farm Tipi Wedding is a stonker! A church ceremony and Tipi party on the local farm. A very relaxed, informal, family centric day, held in the last week of May. Vintage bus transport, smoke bombs, a fish n chip van, plenty of games, a VW camper photo booth and brilliant live band. Friends and family created a very well catered “help yourself” buffet (and bar), flowers, styling and all the decor. A brilliant upbeat atmosphere, every guest was ready to party and invested in making sure Sally and Pete had a wonderful day. You cannot help but be swept along in the good energy of a day like this. It was amazing to photograph. I love being a Derbyshire Tipi Farm Wedding Photographer.

Each guest was given their own tankard to personalise for the Gin bar. Sally’s Mum created all the flowers from her garden flower shed! We had a great time experimenting with the smoke bombs. With so many things going on to photograph it was a joy.

Smoke Bombs

Weddings bring out the best in people and in turn it’s the people that really make each Wedding a celebration. So your choice of suppliers, guests, vicar/registrar/celebrant, Wedding party makes all the difference!! A big part of the vibe of the day was created around Harlie and Gracie. Thank you to Bridesmaid Rosie and Best Man Phil for all your help on the day. The guys from South Yorkshire Transport Museum also deserve a special mention (Roy and Pat) drove the vintage bus. They were SO proud to have the responsibility. Incredibly passionate about their buses. Their enthusiasm was catching. Legends. I love my photos of them! It was an honour to document the relationships of Sally and Pete’s huge network of friends.
