The Carriage Hall Wedding Photographer
We are just so grateful that you were our photographer, the photos are amazing, lots of tears & laughs too, each photo becomes our new favourite! Obviously the ones of Lee are outstanding though! We absolutely LOVE them! Thank you so much, can’t wait to start sharing them with our families now!
I am so excited & proud to be sharing this post….. I LOVED shooting this Wedding!! Gina & Mike are my very beautiful friends!! Yep I am totally biased but they are two of life’s good’ns. Some of the nicest, kindest people I know. They truly are made for each other!
Editing these photos has been a joy & so emotional. Just look at their faces, they radiate happiness, love & an amazing range of expressions! The way G&M are looking at one another gives me tingles. Thats LOVE right there!
Then there is THE FLOWER CROWN!!! Gina’s Mum called her an elven princess. She is stunning! I love the sheer detail at the top of her dress & the how the soft train falls. ❤️ the shot of her going downstairs. It was so special being there for the intimate morning prep. Nikki of Eternal Hair & Beauty Gina’s hair & makeup artist was so calm & lovely, fitting into the quiet morning effortlessly.
Gina’s driver thought he’d been booked to taxi guests & was mortified he was driving the bride without his ribbons!!
The space & light at The Carriage Hall make it a lovely venue to shoot. As always the food & service was beautiful. I think Mike got something in his eye during the wait at the top of the aisle.. which was decorated with meadow flowers, jam jars & log plinths by Gina & her Mum (who created all the styling details, including a brilliant instax photo board, which I’m sure is now pride of place in the lounge).
The touching ceremony where the couple made their own promises to each other, included a beautiful heartfelt reading from best friend Tiff prompting more watery eyes all round. My new favourite registrar stepped back just at the right moment allowing me to capture a truly symmetrical first kiss shot! (those who know my love of symmetry will understand just how happy I am with this)!!
Light rain on & off through out the day, didn’t really affect proceedings apart from enabling me to shoot my favourite ever indoor Stag party group shot!! Blue Steel / Mad Men / Sopranos box set / GQ Men of the year… were all channelled to create this masterpiece, hats off the the Stags for OWNING it!!
Relying on met check (other weather apps are available) we pushed back the couples shots until after the meal & phew as we drove to the bottom of the drive the sun was shining. We walked across the road into the most heavenly light! Maybe the weather gods realised just how special these people are! **Disclaimer** No Instagram type flare filters were used in the editing of these images – the sun flare is SOOC (straight out of camera) & achieved by shooting directly into the low sun.
The after party was a cracker, with a live band & epic tie on head dancing! It was a true privilege to witness such a beautiful day full of happiness.
Now, please STOP everything & look at this!!>>>
