“You helped us with so many things that I’m not sure was actually your job, you made us feel so relaxed and alot of the time it felt like you were part of our Wedding party. Thank you so much” Emma and Greg Nottingham Micro Wedding, World Service and House party
INTIMATE NOTTINGHAM WEDDING
A day of three parts – There are so many expected “traditions” that just don’t translate into life in 2024. A Wedding celebration can be anything you want it to be. Keep the things that resonate, scrap the things that don’t. I am here to help you do your day your way.
GET READY TOGETHER!
Emma and Greg got ready together at home. It means so much that couples trust me with their intimate time. A first look at home, I can’t think of anything more personal and special.
TRAVEL TO THE CEREMONY TOGETHER
Travelling together along with Mums, brother and daughter in a plush mini bus to Bridgford House for their heartfelt ceremony. Their Micro or Intimate Wedding Ceremony witnessed by close friends and family (West Bridgford registry office) A solo harpist accompanied Emma down the aisle and played during their signing and exit. Confetti outside and a few family photographs in the grounds, friends dispersed until later.
WORLD SERVICE WEDDING
While the middle part of Emma and Greg’s Wedding was an intimate family dinner held at World Service Nottingham WHAT A PLACE!! What a service. AMAZING FOOD and cocktails. Staff rushed off to re-print an important photograph of Greg’s Dad lost en-route before the meal. Afterwards we took a short stroll down the cobbles for couples photos in lovely light before setting off back to their house. The Nottingham Micro Wedding House party.
I TELL THE STORY OF YOUR WEDDING DAY
You may see me pointing my camera towards unexpected items on your Wedding day. I include small in-between moments or observations that made me smile as place setters to take you from one scene to the next. This, to me, is documentary / street style photography and what I mean by “I tell the story of your Wedding Day” I was gifted lots of time at E&G’s Wedding to seek out and notice these happenings. A heel stuck in the hot tarmac. The state of the floor after Freya had finished her dinner. I hope each shot makes you smile too and provokes an all important memory, other wise forgotten.
HOUSE PARTY FINALE
The party continued with friends and neighbours bringing a bottle. An AMAZING grazing table by date.andthyme was the major talking point. After catching up with all the new comers and an aperol or two we headed off to Wollaton Hall park for couples photos with the stags at Sunset. WHAT A DAY!!
Thank you lovely Emma and Greg for having me. Do your day your way – You won’t regret it!!
